| EXPERIENCE |
Phyllis is a lifelong educator who began her career as a high school English teacher working successfully with “at risk” students for 25 years. After leaving the classroom, she served as District Mentor for five years in a suburban school district working exclusively with first year teachers. Focusing on the areas of curriculum, instruction and classroom management she conducted classroom observations and taught monthly professional development seminars.
She has also worked with experienced teachers as a literacy coach and with pre-service teachers as an adjunct professor at Ohio Dominican University. Currently, she offers her seminars for graduate credit through The University of Cincinnati.
Phyllis received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Education from The Ohio State University. She continues to update her skills having earned over 50 graduate hours in education. |
